Research on the Optimal Operation of a Novel Renewable Multi-Energy Complementary System in Rural Areas

Sustainable development is an inevitable choice for the of human society, and energy closely related to sustainable development. Improving structure, increasing efficiency, vigorously developing renewable are great significance rural areas. Moreover, establishment a distributed multi-energy complementary system (MECS) using abundant such as wind, solar, biomass effective way solve rapid growth power demand, weak grids, environmental pollution. This paper proposes new type Wind–Solar–Biomass–Storage MECS composed wind generation (WPG), photovoltaic (PVG), biogas (BPG) storage (ESS) establishes optimization operation model with goal maximizing daily operating economic benefits, considering characteristics each demand characteristics. By multi-population genetic algorithm (MPGA), simulation experiments under four typical weather scenarios carried out. The results show that can operate stably in different achieve which verifies feasibility model.
